What is ORBit?

 ORBit is a CORBA 2.2-compliant Object Request Broker (ORB) 
featuring C bindings and high performance. If you're wondering what an ORB
is, or whether CORBA is a type of fruit, visit the Object Management Group's
"CORBA for Beginners" page.  

If you want additional information on what's
happening with the project, update your CVS tree regularly, get on the
mailing list, etc.
